New Zealand's latest Sculpture Park held its inaugural exhibition in December 2006 and opened its doors to the public in January of 2007. Located throughout the farm land of Richard and Christine Didsbury in Warkworth, the Sculpture Trail features both emerging and established artists, among which are Jim Wheeler and John Edgar of ARTIS Gallery in Parnell.

The exquisite trail winds through a plethora of native New Zealand flora and includes both an art gallery and a resource centre. Created by architect Noel Lane and curated by the Didsbury's with the input of Dr Robin Woodward and Lara Strongman, the trail effectively adds a new and exciting element to the New Zealand sculpture scene.

Ultimately, the unique blend of native New Zealand forest, birdlife, farmland and sculpture combine to produce an arresting attraction for all art lovers in New Zealand's budding Northland. The sculpture on exhibit is changed on a regular basis.
