ARTIS Gallery

ARTIS Gallery has been operating as a dealer gallery in Auckland, New Zealand for over 20 years.

The gallery first opened its doors at 10 High St, Auckland City in 1984, staying in these relatively small premises for two years before moving to larger premises at 18 High Street. In 1987, ARTIS moved to Herne Bay for two years until the current owner, Jonathan Gooderham, acquired the business. ARTIS was then relocated to Parnell, where it still resides today.

A contemporary gallery with a strong exhibition focus, ARTIS represents a diverse range of leading New Zealand painters, sculptors and photographers. Downstairs we have a large sculpture gallery with a large selection of recent work by our gallery artists.
